What if your teenage past came back to haunt you?

Tara Whyte has the perfect life. She has a new job as a script developer and she is married to Luke Whyte, an award-winning interior designer. They live in the Whyte House, a fashionable Knightsbridge town house, with their children Peter and Susan.

Tara's new TV Production company organises an open call for scripts to welcome her and she is barely settled in when she realises that one of the scripts is about her earlier life. It's the story of a brief relationship with a guy she only knew as Jed when she was seventeen. The problem is, Tara knows what happens in the third act. We all have secrets. We all have a past. But who is Tara Whyte?

One by one, wrongdoings are discovered, culminating in Tara breaking her fear-induced silence to tell the truth. Tara realises that there are people in her life, including Selena and Luke, who believe her, and she finds the strength to stand up to her past.

The Whyte House questions whether identity is fixed, or, viewed through the prism of the past, the future and online presence, we can have multiple selves and multiple truths.
