Tamerlan has just five days during the Summernight Festival to save his sister - or she'll be sacrificed to an ancient, long-dead dragon at the height of the Summernight Festival.

Marielle is a Scenter for the City Watch, smelling emotions and spiritual residues and tracking down crimes. When she is assigned to investigate a strange break-in during the festival, she will stop at nothing to keep her city safe.
